Abstract

In addition, DCP funds the Early Detection Research Network to develop and validate biomarkers for the early detection of cancer. Many of these studies have collected specimens with specific histological endpoints of clinical interest for cancer screening and prevention. Currently, almost 300,000 vials of various tissue types are stored in conjunction with 15 clinical studies.
