Abstract
The overall mission of the Protein Chemistry core is to provide the necessary equipment and technical support for 1) peptide synthesis, 2) microsequence analysis of proteins, and 3) measurement of protein- protein and protein-DNA interactions by means of plasmon resonance analysis and fluorescence polarization analysis. The core laboratory will further enhance scientific exchange between the four participating research groups and save a substantial amount of reseach effort and costs for each of the component labs.
